Your search for Authentic Sea food will end here! Yes coz they serve homely style typical Karwari costal food. It's run by a couple and they serve you like a family member. You'll only get tasty sea food at it's best! Outlet has decent sitting with fish photos on the wall for better understanding before ordering. They have thali varities with Surmai, Pomfret, Prawns. A total must visit place to enjoy some home cooked authentic seafood. Prawns thali 450/- Pomfret thali 550/- Stuffed bombil (3pc) 170/- Stuffed bangda( Mackerel) 120/- Prawns Ghee Roast( 7pc)350/- This place serving some lip smacking home cooked local seafood dishes at pocket friendly rates. We tried Pomfret thali which was absolute amazing and must try. Big in size and quantity was just perfect. Another must try is prawns thali with big size rawa fried prawns. Thali is served on plate with fried fish, rice, pickle, chapati, solkadi, rassa, sukat(dried prawns) and salad. We also tried stuffed bangda and bombil. The stuffing was made with fresh coconut, coriander and ginger garlic. It was well marinated and good in portion. Last but not the least is Prawns ghee roast. The magic of fresh ghee roast masala paste, ghee and tempered with curry leaves makes this dish delicious with right balance of flavours.

Decent place to have delicious and hearty food with homely preparation. The owners both husband wife are hard working and very humble human beings. May you guys grow and we get to eat the delicious food for many many years ahead. Bombay duck fry (bombil fry) n other fish fries were too good.

The masala used actually enhances the fish eating experience without a doubt. 😋 Lot of hardwork put behind every single item which comes out of the kitchen. ❤️ Would recommend this to every seafood lover without a doubt..👍🏻 priced reasonably! 🤩 Surmai thali for 550 and prawns around ₹520.The bangda fry is super tasty option to go for which would cost around 120. We ordered another prawns fry, which had 15 pieces! This time, unfortunately, our food experience was terrible. We left half our food, did not take any rice or any curry. Just finished the protein on the plate and left. I've been here before and traveling from Warje to here, and then getting such a disappointing experience felt really very bad. Went to another place from here to finish our dinner plans and end the cravings. Hope they improve the portion size as the price we paid and the portion we got was totally not worth it. The curry was absolutely tasteless and watery as if from one portion that was left, 4 portions were made. The owner saw the half-eaten food being left on the plate, and we leaving after paying the full bill. I feel he could have asked if anything was wrong, but i felt that he already knew the food was going to be like this. For sake of decency and not to make other customers eating there uncomfortable, we left after saying thanks to which there was no reply too.

I went to Karwar Katta and entered their adorably humble and cozy place which instantly reminded me of the lunch homes I used to frequent in Mangalore and Udupi. Those lunch homes are famous for their fresh fish thalis and fries. Karwar Katta gave me very similar vibes. A simple white board menu, basic no-fuss couple of chairs and tables to eat and heartwarming service. I already sat, ordered and waited, salivating at the mere aroma the air was filled with of fish fries and masalas. And soon enough, my plate of gorgeous looking Prawns Khichdi came. I love sticky textures in rice and that's why I loved this dish at the first look itself. Loaded with ghee, very light and fragrant spices and a generous amount of diced up prawns - this is a dish worth trying. Priced at a phenomenal 150 bucks, this plate of Kolambi Khichdi will hit all the taste and love notes in your heart! PS: they don't serve that gravy alongside, I ordered it to taste because I love these gravies. The khichdi is delicious by itself and really doesn't need anything else. Please go and try this out. They serve only through Friday to Sunday.
